An Ideal Training Tool This is an ideal training and development tool for not-for-profits, NGOs, all organisations working in the developing world or social sectors.
Business education tools which specialise in this sector are uncommon - so this is an outstanding opportunity to use the most advanced methods in executive education in this sector About the simulation The simulation consists of eight decision-making rounds and can be completed within a few minutes (for a game-like experience), or alternatively you can take up to 10 minutes per decision-round, taking a total of 80 minutes (for deeper understanding and learning)
Take the role of the Executive Director of a Social Enterprise in the education sector, with an international charity. In the first month your organization receives an initial funding of €100,000 from an Educational Charity which intends to provide primary and secondary education in Africa. Over a simulated period of 4 years, you have to develop a range of commercial educational operations, which will allow you to fund the setting up and running of these schools. Your mission is to lead the Social Enterprise to sustainable long-term growth. If you succeed, the charity will be encouraged to fund the setting up of a university.
