Filippo Addarii

 

Filippo Addarii

Filippo is Executive Director of the European network of third sector leaders - EUCLID - and Director of International Leadership at ACEVO, the British association of chief executives of voluntary organisations. In these roles he has developed networks to empower civil society across Europe, Asia, Africa, US and Middle East. He is a member of the Citizenship Structured Dialogue Group of DG Education & Culture, the European Commission.
Filippo was previously project manager at Art for the World, a cultural association that promotes Human Rights through contemporary art exhibitions in collaboration with the UN and the EU. He went on to found GlobaLab, a culture-focused association which promotes global civil society development through innovative intercultural projects. He co-founded the magazine Ecologist Italy and the Research Centre of Contemporary Social Movements for the Feltrinelli Foundation. Filippo has degrees in Philosophy (Bologna) and Third Sector Organisation Management (Urbino). He has also undertaken post-graduate studies in New Generation CEOs (Cass Business School), Social Entrepreneurship (INSEAD) and Strategic Management for Leaders of NGOs (Harvard)

 
Clive Bane

Clive Bane

Clive is Director of Human Resources at the University of the Arts London. Clive is an experienced HR professional who has built up particular expertise in the fields of employee and industrial relations, development and training, organisational development and reward over the past 27 years.
Clive has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 1986; he gained an MBA from Sussex University /Roffey Park Management Institute in 1994, and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2005. Prior to moving to the University in 1995, he worked for the British Council in various HR roles, undertaking a wide range of internal consultancy assignments in Europe, Asia and Africa. Clive has chaired the Board of Educational Competencies Consortium Ltd a member-owned company in the business of selling a role evaluation services in Higher and Further Education, and he is currently working with Professor Roger Wilson on the establishment of a Centre for Leadership in Art and Design Education.

 
Olivier Basso  

Dr Olivier Basso

Olivier is a managing partner of Aden Executives, an international network that designs and delivers customized Executive Execution programs for large companies. Formerly an Associate Professor in Strategy at ESCP-EAP (now known as ESCP Europe), he has taught extensively in the fields of Entrepreneurship and Change Management. He has also played an integral role in different joint programs in executive education, designed with international institutions such as Duke University, Babson College and ESADE.
Before pursuing an academic career, Olivier spent nearly ten years in the consulting industry as a senior consultant in change and strategic management for large companies and innovative start-ups. Currently serving as General Secretary of the French Academy of Management (SFM), Olivier has been involved with the Institut de l’Entreprise for several years and currently contributes to design innovative projects involving future leaders. He holds a Master of Philosophy degree and a Ph.D in Management (with honors) from La Sorbonne University. He is also a graduate from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm) and HEC.

 
Liza Castro-Christiansen

Dr. Liza Castro-Christiansen

Liza is a Visiting Academic Fellow at Henley Business School, University of Reading in the UK, where she supervises Doctoral associates researching within the areas of Leadership, Change and HRM. Liza has been Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the Aarhus Business College in Denmark since 2001.
Prior to joining academia in 2001, Liza worked as marketing manager in the education, hotel and IT sectors in Denmark for 14 years. Liza has experience in the management of marketing and sales, key accounts, projects and HR.
Liza is the HR Ambassador for Denmark in the Academy of Management’s HR Division, she previously served as Chair of the Henley International Alumni Advisory Board and Governor in Henley’s Court of Governors, and the Chair of the Henley Alumni Association of Denmark. Liza orginally comes from the Philippines where she obtained her double degree in Business Administration and International Studies.

David Clutterbuck

David Demetrius

David Demetrius

David founded and is the President of the European Management Development Institute (Emadin), which specialises in the provision of training, mentoring and coaching of senior executives in all aspects of corporate strategy and corporate governance. He has over 30 years experience in management of and consultancy to companies (from SMEs to large multinationals) throughout Europe, the United States, Australia, Africa and Asia. David is a member of the board of directors of several European companies and from 2000 to 2007 was the Chairman for Continental Europe of the Institute of Directors and a member of the governing Council of the Institute in the UK. He is also an honorary member of the European Foundation for Management Development and a member of its Corporate Services Steering Committee. He is a fully qualified accountant and has degrees in mathematics and business as well as being a fellow of several professional institutes. He is currently completing his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Business Administration.

 
Gavin Dudeney

Gavin Dudeney

Gavin has worked in education and training for the past 19 years, as a teacher, teacher trainer, online materials developer, IT manager and web/user interface designer. He has collaborated with a number of large international organizations such as the British Council and International House World Organisation, helping them to integrate new technologies into their professional and educational structures and programmes.
In 2003 he co-founded the highly-successful Consultants-E, an online training and development consultancy specializing in distance education and training. In 2007 they were awarded a British Council ELTon award for the CertICT course dealing with technology training for educators. The Consultants-E also has a large presence in Second Life, where they have been operating since 2006.

 
Bruce Hoag  

Dr Bruce Hoag

Bruce is a professor, consultant and researcher in management issues. He teaches as adjunct faculty to MBA students at the University of Phoenix and to undergraduates at the University of Maryland. He has been been a guest lecturer at Cambridge University, University of Westminster Business School (London), and the City University Business School (London), and has given numerous presentations to groups from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development throughout the United Kingdom. Bruce has consulted to senior managers in organizational design and product development and written a score of business and training plans for a number of small and medium size businesses.

His first book "Managing Value-Based Organizations: It's Not What You Think" contains the first comprehensive history of the organization and management of work, receiving a 5-star rating on Amazon. He's currently co-authoring a new state-of-the-art management textbook entitled Management Through Collaboration (to be published in 2010).

He is a member of the Academy of Management, the British Academy of Management, and the British Psychological Society. Bruce has a PhD from the Manchester Business School, and is one of the top networkers in the field of management.

 
Susanne Kremeier

Susanne Kremeier

Susanne worked for 19 years at Dow Chemicals Europe, where she was Senior Leader, Human Resources, responsible for organizational development, the HR aspects in mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as leading projects to improve Dow's organizational effectiveness with specific focus on quality of leadership.
Prior to her role in Human Resources, Susanne spent 14 years in sales, purchasing, product and market management at Dow. Susanne has recently established people & results, a company specializing in leadership coaching, organisational effectiveness and change management. Susanne has a MA in economics from the University of Aachen, Germany, soon a MSc in Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck College, University of London, UK, and a swathe of other professional qualifications, including: Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument accreditation, Certification as a professional coach from the International Coaching Academy, Team Management System accreditation, Facilitation Skills Certification, Process Communication I and II, and Six Sigma Green Belt in MAIC (continuous improvement) and DFSS (design for quality).

 
David Lamond  

Dr David Lamond

David is Associate Dean of Nottingham Business School, and Academic Advisor and Corporate Consigliere to Emerald Group Publishing. His experience base incorporates nearly two decades in management education at Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney Graduate School of Management, and now the Nottingham Business School. Previously, he had a successful career as a senior public sector executive, in local and State government in New South Wales. David’s qualifications include degrees in psychology and public management and a PhD in managerial psychology. He is a registered psychologist and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. David is published across a range of academic disciplines on management issues, with two books, 12 book chapters, and more than 60 refereed journal articles and conference presentations. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management History, Consulting Editor with the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration, and member of several Editorial Advisory Boards. David also consults extensively both locally and internationally, to business, government, and the not-for-profit sector.

 
Jorgen Thorsell

Dr. Jørgen Thorsell

Jørgen is Executive Vice President at Mannaz A/S (founded as DIEU, The Danish Leadership Institute) with responsibility for international executive development activities out of Copenhagen, Brussels, London and Berlin.
He has spent more than 20 years with Mannaz after a number of years in the construction industry. He initiated the extensive international expansion of the Institute and provides consultancy in the area of executive development and strategy execution. He was a key contributor to initiatives leading to the winning of the European Quality Award and being elected Best Place to Work in Denmark.
Jørgen holds a DBA in Strategic Management from the US International University, San Diego, and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. Furthermore, he holds a BSc and an MSc degree in civil engineering and planning from Technical University of Denmark.
Jørgen is also Chairman of the Board of Directors for Renon Rengoring.

 
Flooris Van Der Walt  

Flooris Van Der Walt

Flooris is Vice-President, Global HR Business Processes for the Holcim Group, responsible for HR Processes and Systems, Communication & Knowledge Management, Reporting, Values implementation, and HR Skills development globally. He both South African and Swiss, and has lived and worked in both countries. After graduating first in Psychology and then in Education, he started his career as a psychotherapist. On joining industry, he did an MBA and followed it up with the AMP at Harvard. After gaining experience in general HR at both HQ as well as Plant environments in South Africa, he was transferred to Switzerland as an international consultant in Management Development and Management Education. In these positions, he gained experience in Asia-Pacific, Central Europe and North Americas. In 1999, he was appointed as Head HR Management of Holcim Group Support and then in 2004 be became Head Corporate Recruitment and Appointments, where he oversaw the recruitment and selection of Top and Senior Managers. In 2005 he became responsible for People Development issues worldwide, within the IT and Internal Auditing functions, as well as the gateway for Processes in HR for the Holcim Group.
